Kendal’s spiritual journey started long before she was born into this body. Feeling a call to spiritual work, Kendal was initiated as a shaman in 1994 and has deepened her skills over the last twenty years. Combining her knowledge as a dancer and endurance runner, Kendal understands the mind, body, spirit connection and utilizes those skills in her work. Having experienced trauma in various forms as well as depression and anxiety in her own life, Kendal aligns a great deal of her spiritual work to help process personal and generational trauma. Kendal is able to combine ancient knowledge with modern information in all of her healing modalities to craft a holistic view of to balance both the physical and spiritual worlds. She is experienced in meditation, sound healing, altar work, crystal healing, aromatherapy as well as energy healing and cleansing.
Shri Diehl is a certified yoga teacher (E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP) and recipient of the Yoga Alliance Advanced Training Scholarship. Her additional training in trauma-informed wellness complements how she facilitates and uses hands-on adjustments. Her inspiration comes from the dedication of living yoga beyond the postures. She studied yoga and Ayurveda in Rishikesh, India, and has been teaching in cities across the United States since 2007. She gives much respect to her teachers, both living and passed, who lovingly keep her heart in the space of being their student. She also greatly appreciates the invaluable lessons learned from her grandmother related to healing. Shri practices yoga to reaffirm body and spirit. She teaches yoga to hold space for others as they navigate their own journey of self-care.
Summer C. Esquerre
From a very early age, Summer was regularly the exception or the “only one” in different types of spaces. As a teenager, she was the only out Black Queer Female in her classes and more recently in meetings with C Suite executives. In navigating these difficult environments, Summer learned that she was enough. Through the journey of understanding her purpose and exercising her agency and authenticity, she brings her whole self to provide value to everything she does.
Turning that “only one” challenge into an opportunity, Summer uses that know-how of worthiness to empower and support other black and brown womxn who are traditionally othered and treated like outsiders. Based on her 20+ years of experience in directing teams large and small in various environments, Summer is known for intuitively listening, providing practical and actionable guidance to navigate and thrive within white, patriarchal, heteronormative, able-bodied spaces.
Summer is an embodied Cyber Security Leader with years of progressive experience in creating strategic alliances with organizational leaders to drive and support key business initiatives. She is an expert in multiple cybersecurity domains such as governance, security and risk management, network security, access management, privacy, and sustainability assurance.

Kim Diehl is a communications strategist and proud union member of United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 2320. She is also a certified tennis coach with Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), serves as a member of the Organizing Upgrade editorial collective, and is a founding national member of Critical Resistance, a national organization dedicated to abolishing the prison industrial complex. Her writings have appeared in Color Lines and Southern Exposure magazines and Outsiders Within: Writing on Transracial Adoption (South End Press). A native Floridian, she currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.
